Our Journey

We started our journey to create DQ Academy with a simple idea: how can we bring back Islamic values, critical analysis and thinking into a high school curriculum. Shaykh Amin led the way forward with his knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah but the rest of the journey lies with our teachers and students.

Our vision for them is to immerse them in a scholarly environment by providing them with an integrated rigorous curriculum and access to college level classes at Harper Community College. This foundation will lead them to either the renowned institution Darul Qasim College or any other school of their choosing.

With the strong Iman and skills provided by each one of these steps, our students will have a world of opportunities at their disposal with Muslim civilizational values intact.
